Secretary of the Security Council of the Russian Federation Nikolai Patrushev publicly threatened the United States with a “unique weapon” that could allegedly “destroy” the entire country.

According to Putin’s ally, Russia has a weapon with which it is able to destroy any enemy, including the United States, in case of a threat to its existence. Patrushev also argues that statements by American politicians that the Russian Federation will not be able to respond to a preventive nuclear strike by the United States are “short-sighted and dangerous stupidity.”
“After the collapse of the USSR, Russia analyzed all its mistakes, so now it can ensure both internal stability and security from outside threats,” said the Secretary of the Security Council of the Russian Federation.
In addition, Patrushev argues that the sanctions against Russia have not achieved their goals.
“The West has seriously miscalculated, counting on the collapse of the Russian economy and the growth of protest moods as a result of sanctions,” the official said.
