This is “Who is who” the exhibition on the collection of the Museum of the History of Costume

Buenos Aires – A few days ago, the Buenos Aires Costume History Museum opened the exhibition Who’s Who? The exhibition covers part of the history of fashion in Argentina based on the creations of 20 national designers. The curatorship was in charge of the journalist specializing in fashion, Victoria Lescano, who carried out investigative work within the framework of the “Activate Heritage 2020” scholarships, where she proposed to put together a dictionary giving details about the museum’s heritage.

Who is who? They are organized around different thematic axes: Elemental structures, Floral motifs, Little black dresses, Daytime clothing, Marilú, and Chromatic bet. The common thread focuses on the characteristics of European designers based in Argentina between the end of the 19th century and the beginning of the 20th.
