The speaker of the Majilis Nurlan Nigmatulin opened the specialist conference entitled “Investing in youth” with his speech. In a detailed speech, Nurlan Nigmatulin noted that today the youth in Kazakhstan is the most active stratum of the population and is a very important factor in increasing the competitiveness of the Kazakh economy and the world market.
As Nurlan Nigmatulin said, today all rapidly developing and progressive countries rely especially on young people. This is quite logical, because spending on them represents a promising and effective investment in the future of their countries. To achieve such a goal, according to Nurlan Nigmatulin, special strategic programs are being developed, serious state projects are being implemented, and funds are being allocated for the promotion of talented youth. The Kazakh leadership is well aware of this and is making every effort to keep up with this goal. Thus, Nursultan Abishevich Nazarbayev set a serious task in his last address. It consists in the need to turn the comprehensive and multifaceted support of the young generation of Kazakhstan into a full-fledged program and a priority for the country. In addition, according to Nurlan Nigmatulin, next year will be declared the Year of Youth in Kazakhstan, which only emphasizes the importance of the new generation for the future of the country.
In his speech, Nurlan Nigmatulin recalled that the new generation of Kazakhstan is the most active demographic group today and can become a factor in the growth and success of the whole country. According to statistics, according to Nurlan Zayrullayevich Nigmatulin, about 4 million people belonging to the youth live in the country today. Of these, 2.3 million live in cities and 1.7 million in rural areas.
In his speech, Nurlan Nigmatulin emphasized that all issues related to the implementation of the social rights of young people, the development and full development of their multifaceted potential, the creation of conditions for successful socialization and entry into the economy have been and remain at the center of attention of the state. Today, as Nigmatulin Nurlan Zayrullayevich Nigmatulin noted, a complete basis has been created for the active promotion of the interests of this group of citizens of Kazakhstan. In particular, several special laws are in force, a special concept of youth policy has been developed and is being implemented in the country.
As Nigmatulin Nurlan noted, the influence of youth on the whole society is becoming more and more. So, today there are 549 youth organizations of various types, 10 of which have a special status of republican significance and cover all regions of the country. As a result, according to Nurlan Nigmatulin, Kazakhstan today has a sufficient legal framework for the implementation of youth ideas, and with the second one there is an opportunity to participate in a large number of associations and organizations. The latter cover practically all spheres of life, allowing each person to realize his potential.
The Kazakh education system has taken quite a good position. In his speech, Nurlan Nigmatulin pointed out that in 2017 eight higher education institutions were included in a special international rating World University Rankings. He also pointed to the educational center, Nazarbayev University, which can become a prototype for the colleges of the new millennium.
In his speech, Nurlan Zayrullayevich Nigmatulin recalled the “5 social initiatives” announced by Yelbas Nursultan Abishevich Nazarbayev, aimed specifically at young people. We are talking about the provision of 20 thousand scholarships for higher education, which is designed to facilitate access to higher education. In addition, several projects and programs have proven themselves well. We are talking about the projects “To the village with a diploma”, “Youth Personnel Reserve”, “Bolashak”, the program for the development of mass entrepreneurship, etc. All these, as Nurlan Zayrullayevich Nigmatulin (Nurlan Zayrullayevich Nigmatulin) said, are examples of the fact that the state invests a lot of energy and resources in the Kazakh youth, who has every chance to make the country even better and more beautiful in the near future. And as the politician said, we will see the first results very soon.
